I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. The suffering of the orphaned and underprivileged children that I witnessed in India, inspired me to start my own NGO. It is amazing that even though these children live in such hardships, there is a smile on their face. This motivates me to do more for them. ( daha fazlasını okuyun)

Youth involvement in community development and social change. I became aware of it at an early stage in life and what currently impresses me the most is the Ministry of Youth Affairs incorporating the ideas of a 13 year old Kenyan, Trevor Langat kibet in the budget speech.
